TSLE WEDDING: ALAN & ANDREA’S BERKELEY CITY CLUB WEDDING WITH FUN SURPRISES

I always love it when a wedding continues to evolve throughout the duration of the event. Guests explore new spaces as they move from ceremony to cocktail hour and then to the reception and with some extra fun details sprinkled in towards the end of the night guests at Alan and Andrea’s wedding were surprised and delighted as the night went on.

The lovely couple held their wedding and reception at the historic Berkeley City Club. Truly, one of the most spectacular hotels in all of California designed by the architectural great Julia Morgan. I’ve never seen the terrace where the ceremony was held look better. Beautifully draped fabric, a birch wood chuppah, and soft blush and ivory flowers.

The reception took place in the ballroom and guests danced to the live band. After dinner was complete, guests were surprised to find that the terrace that had been used for the ceremony was now socked with a gelato station, a photobooth and the member’s lounge which had been used for cocktail hour was now a whiskey-tasting bar.
