Private Residence & Flood Mansion

San Francisco Elopement

Jilly, an Art Historian from Australia, planned to marry her Turkish groom Evren in May 2020, surrounded by an impressive art collection by the likes of Rodin and Monet at the Legion of Honor Fine Art Museum. However, the two became husband and wife in their one-bedroom San Francisco hilltop apartment, over zoom. At the time, in-person civil ceremonies were not an option; as such, the couple wed in a private Zoom ceremony in their home. Following their online nuptials, the couple toasted online with family members around the globe. The classic, elegant and fashion forward bride wore white Chanel flats, a gorgeous white floral applique blouse with gold heart button detailing and a wide leg linen pant. Her hair was braided in a crown to feature the collar and pussy bow of the blouse. The couple’s apartment was transformed to feel like a wedding oasis with drapery accented with beautiful bright blooms of bougainvillea, peonies and king protea. The table was set with handcrafted Italian dishware, a subtle reminder of time spent studying abroad and the cake was adorned with custom sugar flowers with intricate detail. As lovers of art, architecture, and one-of-a-kind detailing, the couple took photos in their Pacific Heights neighborhood, which included the James Leary Flood Mansion, which was also decorated with beautiful flowers.
