Indian & Jewish Tradition in Carmel

BERNARDUS LODGE

CARMEL, CA | PHOTOGRAPHY BY RACHEL BLACKWELL

Sarika and Josh’s wedding beautifully blended his Jewish and her Hindu heritage with two ceremonies and receptions. The Jewish ceremony, officiated by the groom’s siblings, was followed by a luncheon under a pergola draped in greenery. The Hindu ceremony featured a stunning mandap and a custom canopy carried by the bride’s friends. The evening reception included a 24-foot floral canopy over a kings table, deep blue linens, ivory stoneware, and glowing taper candles.
