TSLE WEDDING: BRINGING HAWAII TO THE BAY FOR MEGGIE & MIKE’S MICRO WEDDING (PLANNED IN 31 DAYS!)
31 Days. 31 Days is exactly how long we had to plan Meggie and Mike’s wedding. This fun loving couple had originally planned to hold their wedding in Maui but due to Covid-19 travel restrictions and in an effort to prioritize safety for their loved ones they changed course and had a Hawaiian-inspired micro wedding in the Bay Area!
This wedding and couple fully embody the Aloha spirit – nothing but positive vibes to be found here. Since we couldn’t go to Hawaii, we brought Hawaii to the Bay Area! Tropical flowers, lush arrangements, and bright colors were on full display. Including a 5+ Foot hanging floral installation that went above the head table.
At the time of this wedding, cocktail hour was not allowed and, in an effort to follow all social gathering requirements but not miss out on a little cocktail experience, we came up with the idea for a roaming cocktail that doubled as the table assignments. Guests grabbed their drink and made their way to their seats for dinner.
This wedding was full of love, amazing speeches, epic dancing down the aisle, and joy. Pure joy! The only down side to planning a wedding in 31 days is that I would have LOVED to have had more time to work with this amazing couple!
