TSLE WEDDING: BROOKE AND ISAIAH, FROM LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT TO WEDDED BLISS

Have you ever experienced love at first sight? With absolute certainty, our bride Brooke felt this for her now husband Isaiah. It was in the 7th Grade at the school cafeteria where Brooke first laid eyes on Isaiah. Isaiah, the youngest of 12 siblings had been homeschooled up until that point and while he took his time getting to know Brooke in that moment she knew.

A relationship some twelve years in the making that took many twists and turns but ultimately lead to this most beautiful and meaningful wedding day. It was at the picturesque Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay, overlooking the Pacific Ocean where the ceremony took place with an aisle filled with flowers blooming upwards towards the sky. The couple were married by the groom’s father under a floral cabana that stood some ten feet tall. What had originally been planned for 170 guests, due to Covid-19, the couple exchanged their personal wedding vows in front of just 50 of their closest loved ones.

Cocktail hour took place on the lawn overlooking the beautiful California coast. A quartet played as guests connected, enjoyed an assortment of food stations passed appetizers and took in the natural landscape as the sun set. A collection of demi john vase were used to indicate table assignments before guests made their way into the ballroom for dinner. The subtle sea glass theme was also used on the dining tables as seat assignments that doubled as a meal indicator based on the color of the sea glass.

Once inside, the dinner reception took place in the ballroom where the goal was to create a beautiful warm and full atmosphere. With just 50 guests in a ballroom that held a capacity of 250 persons, this was achieved with a mix of round tables with tall “cloud-like” centerpieces and kings tables that sat under built and decorated custom pergolas that ranged in size from 12-24’ in length. Hundreds of glass bulbs with tea lights were strung at varying heights from the pergolas which created the most beautiful glowy atmosphere while a large floral chandelier with Edison bulbs hung over the dance floor. Guests sang karaoke and danced to their hearts content in true celebration of this beautiful union.
